Hitch-Mounted Racks

1UP USA has six types of hitch-mounted bike racks to choose from, which are designed to keep your precious cargo secure. The racks are either for a single bike or two bikes, but 1UP USA sells separate Add-Ons to haul up to 3 bikes using a single rack and up to four bikes using a double rack.

Products in the Add-On category allow you to, as the name implies, add to an existing rack. There are three such products to choose from. The “Add-On” and “Super Duty Add-On” can be mounted on any 1UP USA rack, whereas the “Equip-D Add-On” can only be used to add to an “Equip-D Rack.”

This brief video from 1UP USA is a great way to visualize how simple and sleek their hitch-design really is.

Roof Racks

1UP sells a “Roof Rack” and “Tandem Roof Tray” that both accommodate one bike per, but differ in terms of carrying capacity and the max wheelbase they can accommodate. These racks can be clamped on to the crossbars of most vehicles. And, 1UP USA also sells a flush mount option that you can use with crossbars from other companies – Thule, Yakima, Whispbars, or Rhino.

Cargo Carrier

The 60 inch Hitch-Mounted Cargo Carrier is designed to give you extra storage space when you need it, and they’ve made it so it swivels 90 degrees toward the vehicle to be out of the way when not in use, and also 45 degrees away from the hitch for access to the rear of the vehicle. And on top of that, it’s compatible with two Rack Add-Ons (the “Add-On” and the “Super Duty Add-On”), which means you can add bike racks to the cargo carrier for additional cooler/gear space and carry your bikes too! Clever is right….

1UP USA says that they like to describe what they do as “American ingenuity for the cycling world.” The combination of solid standard products that can be added to as a means of meeting the diverse needs of cyclists the world over is inspiring. Why Did You Start 1UP USA?

The company was started to produce an American Made Product that solved previous consumer issues, while keeping a service life that exceeds many of the imports. – 1UP USA

And 1UP USA has benefited the Dickeyville economy, which is where the owner lives, by creating company jobs and indirectly benefitting the town via construction activity and tax revenue.

1UP USA is a small company that offers good paying jobs with benefits to the locals that work here. A new building was constructed in 2013 and was added on to in 2017. – 1UP USA

The drumbeat of how hard it is to make gear locally in this country is probably a little nauseating if you’ve been reading the blog, but it’s true and 1UP USA is not immune. They, like so many others, are only able to sell direct to consumer as a means of competing with imported products. In doing so, they remove all “middlemen” and the requisite price markup that comes along with it.

A big thanks to 1UP USA for being a part of AmericanOutdoorGearHub.com!
